The birth of a new era

On Saturday, Aug. 8, after three years of planning and preparation, Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento staff moved 161 patients from Sutter Memorial Hospital to the new Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center and remodeled Ose Adams Medical Pavilion (previously called Sutter General Hospital), in just under 18 hours.

Mikuni - 30 year anniversary celebration

Earlier this summer, we had the opportunity to capture an amazing event for the 30th anniversary celebration of Mikuni restaurants. It was an incredible evening with talented performances by David Garibaldi and Lincoln Brewster. Mikuni has a long, rich history in the Sacramento community, etched with such a wonderful success story. It was an honor to be a part of this wonderful evening!

For the kids…

The most special projects come out of inspiration. My wife heard a radio ad on Star 106.5 for Valentine's Day cards to be collected which will be distributed to children in local hospitals. She knew she had to be a part of this event. Only, a few cards from our family just wasn't enough, she knew she had to do more....

Dinner at the overlook

Dinner at the Overlook, a celebration of our city’s commitment to food while benefiting the Food Literacy Center. The 5-course meal was locally sourced and prepared by a team of gastronomy geniuses, local 4-star chefs, including Chef Eric Alexander of Carpe Vino Auburn and Kathi Riley, Visiting Chef of James Beard Award Winning Zuni Cafe, Tyler Bond of Freaks of the Industry, and Aimal Formoli of Formoli's Bistro 3839 Jst. Desserts were prepared by Elaine Baker, former pastry chef at Grange Restaurant & Bar.
